You’d be implementing it within Unity’s scripting environment (unless you have the means and license to go native). So it’s whack in the middle of everything Unity does.

This is what CS:GO does as well. I explain this entire thing on practically every comment on a CS:GO article that complains about shots magically doing zero damage despite blood spitting out of the enemy or getting shot around corners or shooting first, but dying first.
Net-code is a lot easier than AI for me. Then again, I’ve worked a lot more on networking than AI.

It will work on similarly priced PCs. I have a PC that’s a tad cheaper than a Power Mac that’s been built for developing VR software and it copes absolutely fine.
