I did NOT expect this at all!
Don’t fuck up the PC user interface, Square Enix! Please don’t fuck it up!

This is not true. Original Xbox was 32bit x86, Xbox 360 was 64bit PPC; XBone is 64bit x86.
I’m not sure about this as I haven’t bought anything on Steam for a few months now and yesterday morning I bought software which was relatively pricey and it didn’t give me a security check. It went straight through with no problems.
The bigger concern is that enough sensitive information may be available for public viewing that it could be gathered up and used for social engineering and further hacking.
It depends on what you’re buying, I believe. Sometimes a cheap game asks for the last 3 digits, sometimes an expensive piece of software will just let you buy and take the funds without any security questions.
Most likely testing if someone was capable of modifying another user’s account. Pretty wise thing to test if you’re unsure.
I started a graphics mod for FFV to improve the PC version there. FFVI would be a lot easier to mod as the battle and field sprites are shared in the original game.
There’s a very high chance that they are not hackers. I’ve been playing for hundreds of hours, only had about 3 games with hackers.
Who’s in the house? It’s Andrew House!
I quite passionately hate the argument of “They did it back then because of technical limitations, no reason to do it these days”.
PC hardware was very unsuitable for gaming. Home consoles at the time had specialised hardware for rendering graphics, scrolling the backgrounds, etc (where things like sprite-limits and flicker come from); PCs only had processors and basic display adapters.
The Sony emulators emulate the CD loading speed as far as I know - to avoid potential timing errors in the emulation.
The characters are just so flat and that pillow shading is literally the first thing you learn not to do with character sprites.
That better be cinematics within a fully no-wait ATB! I swear, if this is an action RPG I’ll be so upset
The problem is they can’t make a play-all emulator without issues. Emulators on the PC have years of research into bugs and quirks to get them where they are now and there’s still fringe cases of game-breaking bugs for some games.
Who’s Hideo Kojima? I heard a comittee at Konami wrote, directed and produced Metal Gear Solid V and cancelled Silent Hills due to lack of public interest.
Pretty useful to have this spelled out.
Is Hololens still FOV 10 degrees or have they managed to widen it yet?
Thanks for clearing that up. I still don’t remember seeing veemon in v-tamer. He only stayed in champion form if I recall, V-Dramon
