Chin bones have a lot of weight tied to the sides, in my experience it's very difficult to get a mesh to wrap that properly.

I'd like them to implement female characters, though. It would be great if that used the last binary bit of the SteamID to decide if male/female, that should (if SteamIDs are random) have a near 50:50 split.

With modern graphics you can send a floating point value to define how "strong" a shader effect is, so you can have a hair geometry shader and you can increase the length/density and blend the colour by sending values to it.

This is the first I've ever heard of a character's facial hair growing real-time in a game. In other games, your character's beard grows at certain points in the story, like in Assassin's Creed, or you pre-set the facial hair, or, like in the Fable games, you buy beards and moustaches.
