Cool but you can game on the couch on a big TV with minimal fuss on a PC and there's thousands more exclusives on PC compared to all consoles put together.

Seems about right.

Education, basically.

A weird fact about TF2 is that there are no female classes because the team simply never thought to have female classes, the idea never came up. This isn't a purposeful act of anti feministic design, it's being done passively and that's what needs to be solved more than anything.

What the hell?

Active for Valve is a non-limited account (So a paid-for game) plus account be in use within the past 2-3 months.

Valve's definition of active is at least 1 store game on the account and has been used with the past 2-3 months.

Perhaps their PR team doesn't care?

Steam is so good that you forget about the DRM aspect of it that everyone hated back in its early days.

The people making that 1 decent port are making this port.

Yep, it's the exception.

But you have no idea how the rendering works, you don't know how the animation system is timed, you don't know the quality of the codebase or how well it scales for different GPU rendering at different resolution.

With any PC game you'll get launch-time bugs because the hardware is so varied, they cannot capture 100% of the hardware that will be used, they can only go by the most popular hardware in use.

But you're basing that guess on no solid ground, so there's nothing we can really say on the matter at all unless we're at Rockstar with the development team looking at the code and work needed to be done.

"Something tells me this game is going to be worse than GTAIV was at launch"

"I get that they are probably trying to fix up a decent PC port based on the next-gen versions and that takes some time, but how damn difficult could that be?"

I think it is less proof that Rockstar is bad at making PC games.

How did you come to the conclusion that the delay is because of piracy?

We don't know how much work is required for a port and we don't know what quality the team are striving to achieve with this port.

I was expecting a burger filled with Doritos and a large Mountain Dew.
