I also cross shopped the SS Sedan.

The 1LE I was looking at and the Mustang I factory ordered were within a thousand dollars of each other. Price was not the issue. The Camaro was not so much better than the Mustang that I would be willing to live with the tiny windows on a car I ended up driving 92,000 miles over 5 years.

They sold 12,953 total;manuals had a 32% take rate. Also, doesn’t change the fact that GM literally lost my dollars to Ford for lack of a manual in the first year.

In model year 2014, the SS Sedan was available in automatic only, which was a major oversight by GM.

In 2013, I had the option to buy either a Camaro 1LE or a Mustang GT Track Pack. I am a dyed in the wool GM guy, my major priority was handling and daily driving, and, had the SS been available in stick, I would have bought that in a heartbeat.

This actually makes good sense. I see more SQ5s than I ever expected. I remember driving a 3.0l I6 X3 back in 2006 and finding it surprisingly fun in the corners.

I don’t think there’s any particular demand to include a rear recording in the PDR video.

Mid engine good. Big side scoop good. Square exhaust tips... bad. The whole rear of the car is a mess.

The backup camera is above the license plate. That is to make sure you don’t back over things that you can’t see.

You can hope, but I personally like the C7 taillights.

I like the details of the rear windshield. Looks like there is a hole for the rear mirror camera at the top. That spoiler is even worse up close.

Really nowhere else for it to go.

Don’t cheap out on exhaust if you actually drive your car in overdrive on the highway. The aftermarket systems are actually lighter and the higher end systems are engineered not to drone, so you don’t end up with a headache after the first hour of a road trip.

The V8 is cheap to manufacture because GM builds them in bulk, the engines are reliable, make good power, emissions friendly, and return excellent fuel economy for their physical size, displacement, and output.

That spoiler is terrible and God, I hope that taillight setup is all camo. I like the front bumper and the aggressive side scoops though.

I think that’s all camo. The taillights and reverse lights look like they’re quick fix units to make the car safe to drive.

I had two simultaneous first loves, the Z32 and the LS1 Trans Am, but it was the C5 Hardtop that has stuck with me and made me the Corvette stan that I am today.

Enclosed trailers towed by Cayennes, obviously.

You can buy Brioni off the rack, still ain’t Savile Row.

Same shit different year. 3 years ago he was bolting TVS 2300s onto bone stock C7s and selling that as a $16,000.00 package. That’s an $8,000.00 dollar blower, $2,000.00 for the install, and $6,000.00 for some “HPE650" badges. You don’t even get headers.
