I think this is to win back the base after losers/suckersgate

I've already been grumbled at about suggesting this, but: single-car qualifying.

At least .25 miles confirmed so far.

People laughed when I said Ford is the player to watch in the EV wars. Tesla has a long lead, but Ford is putting in the most serious effort of any of the old guard. Not dipping their toes with uninspiring commuter cars, they want to win hearts. Same approach Tesla had.
A case can be made with Porsche as well, but

Holy shit, all the talk of the sound being such a big part of racing that electric would ruin is just not true.

I feel like rally cross is an area where electric could really shine. Short races and a need for a lot of power and torque. With the batteries mounted low in the chassis and the ability to vector torque to the drive train even more specifically, I could enjoy that even more than I do now.

The visual is as ridiculous as you’d think.

Putting him in a car with Autopilot engaged would be a more elegant solution.

I know that Gio’s wheel came loose, but at the same time, after the impact, you can see a moment when Russell’s wheel starts to come up over the nose of the car and doesn’t, presumably because of the tethers. I agree it could be better, there is always room for improvement, especially when it comes to safety.

True Americans kneel only to God.”

Umm, separation of church and state? To claim that, you’re arguing against the Constitution. Not very ‘true American’ of you, is it?

BLM is about wanting to hold criminal responsible for their actions. Criminals within law enforcement, who - under qualified immunity - are virtually

Have infiltrated? I thought they CREATED police departments. Hm, TIL.

They look a LOT better in person. Owing to their noise, vibrations, and general twitchiness, they’re are also kind of fatiguing to drive on the regular.

This fully armed boy had 3 cops roll past him after killing two people, during the curfew they were claiming to enforce, and not even a single tear gas spray was directed his way. White America’s sons of anger get to kill people with the state’s seal of approval.

I wonder if he’s ever driven on a track before. Did anyone ask before he started?

I think he was talking more about compression in general, more than depth of field. I caught what he was throwing.. He talks about the wide angle distortion, how minimal the compression and wide angle distortion is at the “normal” focal length, and so on.

Compression works like this: Wide angle makes foreground look

You need some amount of telephoto, otherwise even an F1.2 will not look right. Also, a telephoto at F4 will have more car in focus as well as background separation, vs a wide F1.4 or the likes. 200mm takes a good bit of space but will produce the right background compression even with F6.3 lenses, just make sure the

That kinda went... nowhere
