Chevy expiramented with the rotory, I’ve heard stories of rotory test mule Bette’s back in the day, I think the Vega was supposed to be rotory as well and AMC was planning on using them in the Pacer when Chevy pulled the plug on the engine program and they had to scrabble to get the straight 6 to fit

The neon gets a bad rap, I had one for a few years and it was awesome, a lot of people hate em. They were cheap and relatively fast
