If the strategy were 'one physicial-media based and one download-only' it could make sense though. Cheaper, disc-based system to appease the brick-and-mortars and those without ready access to broadband, and download only for those of us who feel physical media should have been done away with years ago.

However, 30 FPS without looking significantly better than the PSP Ridge Racers in higher resolution is ridiculous.

Huge at the time doesn't = deserving of all the fanfare (neither does the use of nostalgia goggles). I'm a huge Zelda fan, have been since I played the original way too much during my childhood. I guess I'm just 'that guy' who didn't like either of the N64 iterations all that much. I guess I just don't 'get' all the

I'd like to see them skip it and do Wind Waker.

Can we finally get a shot of this screen versus the Nexus? I'm sick of hearing everyone accept and excuse the fact that Nexus uses pentile by saying you won't notice. I've seen them, unless your eyes just don't give a shit, you'll notice. (especially on solid non-primary colors, where everything looks pock-marked)

It's been god-knows-how-long and the Nostromo is still better than any imitator that's followed.

This is ridiculous. It's like saying cars shouldn't have model names (That isn't a Camry LE, it's a 302b 2011.5a with the r2.5d package installed) and everyone should be like Mercedes and BWM and bombard us with class and version numbering. People name things other things, get the hell over it.

An app review that's not exclusively IOS? Am I at the right site?

Did you accidentally make that review link into a mailto link?

A lot of developers, (even beginning-programmers like myself) we very inspired by the likes of Tempest, Tempest 2000, Robotron, (Jeff Minter) etc.

Day-one purchase right there. I [tenderly] loved the ever-living shit out of that game on Dreamcast and PC.

Ever? Really? It's like a random stroll through Deviantart.

Is the world really so cartoonishly simple to you?

indeed

Reminds me of "The Dale"
