I've been there off and on the past few years visiting my wife. She's in the US now but Manila wouldn't be my first choice in the Philippines. Too many people, not very well maintained (everything looks dilapidated). Palawan is very nice, but they care a lot more about preserving their natural eco system than adding

but but, that mean you'll have to use iron sights like a heathen! Seriously though I'd love just to have a great war game, no extra features or special toys, just awesome game play with a focus on great action.

I'd love to see Medal of Honor done with the Dice engine. I'm not talking about the "new" MoH I'm talking about the classic WWII types. I loved those games and I know people loathed WWII but that's because everyone was making them at the time. WWII games with the new engines that are out would be amazing. I'd also

I was hoping more Philippines based locations as my wife is from there and it would make it relatively easy. She's from Manila and I can agree with the lower score, although I was surprised Palawan was ranked higher. I've been there and it's far from a technology driven place. I was there for a week so I didn't see

I remember eating squid ink cake when I lived in Japan. Wasn't amazing by any means, but it's pretty cool to see. Not something I would want to eat on more than one occasion, and that's mostly for the "hey this is interesting".

There are plenty of really great games that aren't indie, nor blockbusters. I definitely think big studios have the resources to make something amazing that wouldn't be considered a blockbuster game.

Can you find a MeetUp in your area for this stuff?

For me I've always wanted to get into game development, and ended up joining the military to go to school (the GI Bill). I realized I hated going to school but still wanted to pursue it and now I teach it. It's nothing big yet, but I'm making progress. I'm starting to get the attention of some people doing what I want

I'm offended you didn't post it. ;)

Oh god, he has a butt plug.

I think it's pretty crazy to think that in 2 years they went from "hey guys we want to make a VR headset" to now being part of Facebook. That's some pretty massive growth.

As much as I love VR and all the special hardware coming out for it, you're completely right. I do think VR will catch on but won't grow from gaming initially. I feel like it'll catch on in other industries first then it'll spill over into gaming and become more mainstream.

I guess this is the successor to the Hydra controls? This looks pretty awesome. I'm looking at getting the rift but wanted a VR system that controls body movement as well. I might get this if it works as great as it looks.

I got married overseas, in my wife's country and spend maybe $2000 total including the cost of the rings, dress, food and even the honeymoon. We had a blast too. Big weddings are such a huge waste of money.

This game doesn't look very fun, but then again I didn't think Borderlands was all that great either and that's their flagship series.

Is he wearing those "I just took a dump" pants? I mean they probably help for doing stunts like this, just looks terrible.

I never really got into Final Fantasy solely based on the turn based system. I never understood how that was "fun". This looks amazing though. I love RPG games that allow you to move around in real time. All I want in an RPG is the ability to level up, no need for endless menus to do basic things.

Yeah that always bothered me. I expected a ton of actual different guns, not "oh hey this shotgun shoots slightly differently" or "Hey here's 4 terrible handguns that do basically the same, this one shoots fire darts though!".

I highly doubt "kids" playing Call of Duty religiously are going to make the leap to joining ISIS. His opinion is about as strong as saying "Playing violent video games makes you a killer". I was in the military myself and never heard anyone say "man I loved Call of Duty so much I wanted to join the military".

I haven't played Destiny but I still don't see why people where/are going so crazy for this game. It looks great and seems like it plays great but it also seems rather repetitive and boring. It reminds me of a mash up between Halo and Borderlands. I'd like to try it myself to see what it's like as I'm open minded and
