Can't we just kinda flail until someone gets bruised? I have a child.

I've been on an RTS binge lately, so after completing Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War, Dark Crusade, and Soulstorm, I'm working my way through Company of Heroes. It's a challenge - especially for someone who has a long track record of sucking at RTS games - but I'm enjoying it, even if the poor bastards I choose to

Once upon a time/there was a mom…

I have two games to review for work this weekend: Kings of Kung Fu, and Way of the Samurai 4. The former is a one-on-one fighter with combatants that are thinly-veiled versions of characters like Bloodsport's Frank Dux and the awesome badass Bolo Yeung plays, along with Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, and Chuck Norris circa Wa

Fave in-game currency is probably Fallout's caps… even though it makes me wonder, what with all the pre-nuke currency laying around, why they didn't just use that; I'm sure someone can tell me why doing that in a post-apocalyptic economy is stupid.

I'm playing through original recipe Final Fantasy X-2, and I'm really enjoying it, which is weird considering how much I hated it when it first came out. Though I do think that's because I never gave it a chance at the time due to being young and stupid and… well, there was no Tidus. It's embarrassing to admit to, but

Odd Squad is wonderful, and is the one show we all truly enjoy as a family. Fantastic stuff.

I've restarted Just Cause 2, though this time I'm playing it through in one go; the first time I completed it was over a period of like two years, and while I enjoyed it, I didn't derive a great amount of pleasure from it until I sat down and started 100%-ing the bases and villages. This time around, I'm definitely

This weekend will be more Rogue Galaxy, followed by mild anticipation of my first playthrough of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, a game I totally forgot existed until around four hours ago. I'll also be getting the last dregs out of Fallout: New Vegas, in the hope that by doing so it will somehow make Bethesda

Seeing as I just finished Borderlands 2 today, I'll probably keep going with Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, which I'm playing through as part of a work assignment, but I'll also be trying to dig into a PlayStation 2 JRPG I'm kinda amazed I'd never really heard of before: Rogue Galaxy.

Well, it's a retro gaming website and magazine, but hell, I'd probably be playing them anyway…

For me, because I have a ton of reviews due, I'll be trying to burn through Wild Arms 5, Mutant League Football, The Suffering, and Mister Mosquito. I'm only super-looking forward to one of those, and it rhymes with 'Blutant Beague Bootball'.

For me, it's going to be a big one, but I'm most looking forward to Shadow of Rome because fuck yeah beating people to death with severed arms. Also, some Dark Cloud 2 and Wild Arms 5, and maybe a little Theme Hospital too, if I have time.

Get off the internet, Dad! Your jokes are too corny to live and too beautiful to die!

I'm going to keep trying to 100% Just Cause 2, because fuck even pretending I have better things to do.

A point driven home by Miles Bennett Dyson in Terminator 2. Until he stopped sucking. Because he died. But from the point he got shot, to the point where he didn't know much longer he could hold this, the man was a suck machine.
