Sherlock was a total dumb bitch with that ending. How was that in any way a clever way out of that situation. Me thinks Moffat and Cumberbatch just wanted a James Bond moment.
I'm calling it now. Sheringford will be Sherlock's twin brother who he accidentally killed. At the end of the season he will be kill Mary and the baby and possibly threaten or hurt John. Does it make any sense or any bearing on continuity? Of course not. Does it have any semblance to the canon mysteries, hell no!…
But there are plenty of white actors in the movie who aren't covered up or changed. I think that's more the problem, that POCs are already dealing with not being cast as often, and to the have them obfuscated in appearance is troubling.
I feel like, though short, this is the most accurate comment ever posted. They look so dumb.
Nooooo! Just stay with it until I can see it for myself, Lin. So, you know, another 3-8 years.
Pretty much. Sally was a great character but she was only around in season 1. Moffat is a total hypocrite.
^^ He's also terribly hypocritical because if he actually gave a crap about diversity there are tons of opportunities to fill big roles in Sherlock with a diverse cast.
Thank you so much for this information!
Colin Farrell Yes!! I think he would have been miles above what I fear Cumberbatch's performance will be (i.e. a Sherlock like spin-off). He can play smug without it being too forced.
plot twist Doctor Strange is the piece of strange everyone else is looking for.
Yeah i like when Freeman is given roles with fangs. He was so awesome when he went bad in Fargo.
I just imagined that and cackled and woke up the bf and cat all in one go.
Thank you! I don't get how people think he was this powerful dude when he was just a terribly conceived villain. More to the point in their attempt to make Sherlock look cool and heroic he shot him. He couldn't think of anything better than that so he just was the dumbest dumb dumb in the history of stupid dumb. Way…
I liked it a lot more than season 3 too. I think the reason for that is they actually gave John shit to do. He got to be smart and shine in more than a scene, which is usually all that's he's allowed to have. I like that he was dismissive of Sherlock. Sherlock needs to not be allowed to be awful. John needs to rescue…
I would watch the hell out of that tbh.
Oh no! I think I may be one of the few people who don't care for his voice. It always sounds so damn forced. Like he's breaking a lung just to make sure he sounds as masculine as he can. It's so off putting when I went listen to his normal voice and how soft and higher pitch it is compared to his movie and tv voice. I…
A turn of phrase used to contextualize a comment you disagree with in a comments section that doesn't quite add up?!
It'll probably be more the Sherlock/Khan route where he's all forced overdramatic rumbles and yet strangely bland at the same time.
It's so fake it hurts. Same with the wig and beard he wore during the Nepal filming. I don't understand why they didn't let him grow his own facial hair?
