Yeah, I don't find myself terribly upset about the horse, either. I'm obviously not happy about it, but it is what it is.

Didn't work for Leo, not gonna work for him.

It was a short joke. I thought it might be funny because others have done it in previous episodes' comments.

The Deadwood episode where Bullock fought the Indian also spanned more than one day.

My old clothes don't seem to fit me

+1 for Kerry Condon. I am helpless to her powers, especially after the love scene.

Nucky needs a new sidekick.  Not only does Slater have no loyalty to him, he had no problem watching the last guy he did have loyalty to get shot in the back of the head.  Nucky also suspects that Slater's been sleeping with his wife.

"Yeah I'm just going to pack up my stuff, change my name and follow this creepy guy who's kid I've been watching and pretend to be his wife a thousand miles away. bork bork bork."

All true, but I think that they could have written it in a way that Nucky  brings him back into the fold.  All of the things that made Jimmy a lousy sidekick for Nucky last season have essentially been resolved.  The guy basically learned all his lessons on why it was a bad idea for him as an individual to strike out

I've loved Rothstein this season.  He was such a badass last year and now he's got that big shit-eating grin whenever he makes a wisecrack.

I was expecting that Jimmy's last words to Nucky would be to ask  that Tommy was looked after and received his inheritance.  It would have felt somewhat appropriate given the bizarre relationship he's had with Nucky.

I think the beach house was one of the most underrated thematic points of the season.  The tranquility of the house compared to the turmoil of Jimmy's family.  It's like everyone in that house is thinking at eachother "are we really pretending that our life is like this?"

My guess is that Richard will become Tommy's protector.

There's a different standard of historical accuracy for big and small characters in these shows.  You can rewrite small players like the Commodore (you pretty much have to), but you're not going to lose people unless you kill a Capone or a Rothstein.

Lux will you marry me? Just as long as we don't tell my wife?

A lot of commenters expected him to beat the shit out of her last season when he found the Paris note. He didn't.

The two of them alone could have conquered Germany and killed the Kaiser.

Epic win.

Word of the week is "lesbicide."

Let's not be hasty—it's entirely likely that it took several seconds or minutes for her to actually die after being shot in the head. During that time her boobs would technically be alive.
