I interpreted the scene a little differently—it felt like Chalky was making increasingly unreasonable requests to prevent a deal, being more and more surprised when each offer was accepted. He really wanted to take the deal because they're all things that Nucky couldn't offer.

Then light the heap on fire for a peak into Teddy's mind.

Yeah, but Mickey deserves it. I liked Jimmy's line about "Darmody wants to see what it's all about." Is that the first time he's smiled in two seasons?

You hadn't heard more because I didn't post last night. It's all I've been thinking about since!

I'm another commenter from The Future who just finished the series.

No N or BN tonight but I counted four background nipples. Tonight's Hung, however, had a BN and nothing.

I love how effortlessly he mocks Luciano in the stable. The way he was smiling when he was giving his advice to Nucky, too. Can he be Badass of the Week without touching anybody?

Let's all thank god they didn't follow through on the opium plotline they were setting up when Pearl died.

I must've had a dull pair or your girl grows a limp cord.

Win. Those of you out there in commenter land who've never cut one don't know how tough they really are.

We did see a little bit of him fooling around with floozies in the season opener montage. I was really surprised it didn't get any mention in the writeup or comments at the time because it established a lot of distance from the first season.

I know, I'm just giving him a hard time. Hrhhhh.

Yeah, I'll concede it was pretty badass. To be honest it felt a little phony to me, though.

His name is A.C.

It was kind of funny last week when you said you were going to do this. But now it's kinda sad that you actually did.

If we rewatch the episode I suspect he actually says, "hrrhhh, I don't fucking believe this."

This was a very close race for badass of the week. A.C. Slater had a commanding lead for much of the episode for hitting on his boss's wife. But his victory this week was stolen in the final moments by Van Alden's badass wife, Rose. Badass.

At least you got a partial view of Tom Jane's prosthesis if you held out another half hour. A fair challenge to Luciano's Horse Cock.

Don't forget the scrapbook, either.

Curiously, tonight we had a full "N" despite only having the brief shot of Katy. Perhaps the nudity from last week spilled over?
