And you have to sign up for a Google account to use their search engine since when? Judges? Sorry, never was the answer we were looking for.

Just don't tell them that... their staff has started swinging the banhammer at anything that moves in a direction other than toward Cupertino O_O

Exactly, except for the part where search is totally accessible without using any account, and your search results only contain social information if you login with a Google+ account... so yeah, exactly like that in that it's nothing like that. /sarcasm

No you aren't affected... but shhh, this whole idiotic tirade falls apart if the readers realize this, so keep it down.

"The promotion of Google+ throughout search results, without question, violate Page's ideal. But Google, like the AOL of old, is aiming to be the online portal for people unfamiliar with the web."

Shhhhh... sensationalized articles tend to fall apart under scrutiny... keep quiet!

This! Talking about the consequences is a far cry from experiencing the consequences...

No, not even remotely. Within a year of the ps3's release, there were toolkits to port xbox games to ps3 and vice versa. Unless it's owned or susidized by Sony or Microsoft, it will be cross platform.

PS3 fanboys.... FORM RANKS... CHARGE!

I certainly don't skip the cutscenes but the point that recent FF games have been more concerned with cut scenes than game content is valid. FFXIII was almost unplayable... really felt like all their time was spent on the cutscenes (which were gorgeous mind you) and then the linear crap they called a game was wedged

"One final thought: with the iPhone still market-leader, I think it's fair to say that people neither desperately want nor need massive screens on their phones. Size: it doesn't matter, guys."

When i was in college, I worked at a PC repair shop to make extra cash... I've seen Norton do far far worse than the above. Removing it often corrupts the entire OS. I can't speak to the newer versions that some claim is much reduced in bloat, but Norton circa 2000-2004 was just as destructive as the viruses it was

Being as -all- of Apple's initial successes were built upon Woz's back, i think they owe him. Were it not for Woz, you'd have never heard either Apple or Steve Jobs.

I bought the Asus Transformer (then upgraded recently to the Prime)... I think it's the best of both worlds. I get a totally workable laptop for taking notes/doing homework in my MBA classes and a screaming fast ICS tablet at home for couch surfing :)

More to the point, if Best Buy is the one who sent it to ASUS while you were still under store warranty, Best Buy should honor their warranty when it comes back not working. Sounds like they did it on purpose to avoid an exchange/return. Best Buy is one of the -worst- companies to deal with so, good luck.

Don't worry, I'm sure he'll put a signing note on the bill saying how much he disapproves as he signs it into law, just like he did with unlimited detainment.

Lol, if you say so. Let me know when your semantic engine can decipher the difference between what an end user says they want, and what they actually want. I suspect that's lightyears away.

Lefties can suck it! Tyranny of the majority FTW!

As a software developer I vote for a translator that can translate end user written requirements into what the user actually wants requirements. Then again, this language isn't fully understood by humans, so not sure how we would get a computer to do it ;-)
