New C30? I'm in.
New C30? I'm in.
Sitting on the bridge of my defiant class, floating in space, de-cloaking and unleashing hell before disappearing into the black again... There are some fun aspects of the game.
Freespace: The Great War is on sale on steam this week. $3
I am just waiting for the multi-crew ships to be launched in arena so I can float my freelancer outside for the first time :)
I got the BWU with MX-Blue keys last year and love it. If I could bring it to work without being murdered by a coworker I would love to spend all day typing on the thing (the cheap MS natural keyboard I have at work right now just doesn't stack up...). Great for gaming and general computing. It makes me sad they are…
damn straight. Car dealer asked to run a credit check on my friend (age 30) before he could test drive a used Toyota Corolla S. He needed a car within a couple days (old one was totaled and uses it for work) and the Corolla fit into his budget. We walked away because the sales guy wouldn't let him take it for a test…
My 2500k has been around for 3 years now and I can't say enough good things about that CPU. I still see it in the middle of newer benchmark tests along with fresh processors. I normally do a CPU/MB upgrade every 4 years but I think I can stretch it out a couple extra at this rate.
My PC is very similar. Star Citizen gave me lots of trouble - even in hanger - on a 460gtx but I recently upgraded the graphics and it runs very smooth now. those 2500 series i5 cpus were beasts. My rig is about 3 years old outside of the vid card and it just keeps taking everything I can throw at it.
PC Name: Excalibur3 (All of my PC builds that haven't used any components from old PC's are Excalibur units. After I do a major overhaul on a PC it becomes a '<colour>_dragon' - For example E2 spawned 3 dragons (white, black and silver). It's corny but I've been doing it for years and I was much younger when I…
"Multiplayer Online Battle Arena" doesn't mean as much as you think it means
I've had an EA account since they did that crap online pass for the NHL series on the 360 so it doesn't really bother me.
Of course not! However I do take pride in my tools and using a second rate cable seems unthinkable.
Cat5? Not even going to bother using Cat6? Fiber?
seems to me like it was already mostly in BFII. Would be really stupid if DICE didn't have at least rudimentary space combat.
Star Citizen, Elite Dangerous, Eve Valkyrie, Enemy Starfighter?
It has been a long time but the future looks bright.
One week till I can float around in ships I have absolutely no interest in!*
There is more character progression in the Saiyaman pseudo-filler arc than there is in the rest of the bloody anime. I watched and enjoyed the crap out of DBZ but if you were to remove that tiny part of it none of the characters would have any real development (situational changes yes but character growth? hahaha)
BF2 had a lot more polish to it but 2142 was a hell of a lot more fun. Sucks that it didn't do very well because we will probably never see a sequel now...
Don't be.
SW:BF if I recall correctly had a way to connect directly via ip. If not I know for sure that both BF and BF2 had LAN play which gaming communities can use to set up a vpn service like hamachi.
