The entire car is built like this. Pull on the emergency door handles wrong and they break. Open the hood wrong and you fuck the paint.

the engines are prone to going boom and any service is engine out. also the hybrid batteries are on borrowed time. there is a reason they are so cheap.

That’s definitely the van of an underground vigilante group that was falsely accused of crimes during Vietnam and has now dedicated itself to righting wrongs with guns and makeshift tanks and artillery while also somehow never killing anyone.

I know they’re struggling, but something bothers me about a Billion dollar company being “donated” an asset that is easily worth 20-30K.

And of course the American companies have nothing to offer in the segment. Zero. Ford’s smallest is either the Maverick or Escape, neither of which are cars. Chevrolet’s smallest offering is the bland Trax (oh, didn’t even realize they still offer the Malibu, basically the same ((midsize)) car they’ve been selling…

Remember when cars got too big and expensive after 1978 and then we pivoted back to buying small cars again?

Are any of them leftover RC 8Cs that they’d be willing to offload for ten or fifteen bucks? Asking for a friend

Did American consumers abandon sedans/smaller cars, or did American manufacturers do that?  

They cut off production of the entire fiesta line now to focus on EV production and something that’ll be 100% more expensive than a fiesta lol.

Some of us just want small cars. I always have. I always will. 

It doesn’t hurt that “small” cars aren’t that small anymore.

Dear Ford: Can we have the Fiesta back now? Even as a hybrid or something, I don’t care. I just miss my American sub-compact hatchbacks!

I prefer automobiles for adults.  Will show up with a fart can and a 19-25 year old with Oakley sunglasses at the wheel.
