Agreed. I was going to purchase a new Taco before a leftover F-150 caught my eye for less than the Taco. Probably had better MPG and was much (much) roomier on the inside. I thought, “Why not? Might as well get my money’s worth!” I went as far as driving it home before purchasing only to find out it wouldn’t fit in…

From the dealer, you could order the Twin Turbo Callaway option for the Corvette in 1987 that greatly increased HP, top speed and 0-60 times. This was option RPO-B2K and took the car to 382 hp and 562 ft lbs of torque.

Of course not from the factory, but was a dealer option at every dealer.

Yeah, I know *EXACTLY* what you mean with that “yeah?” she does.

Do you have one in mind that you’d recommend?  Driving a 40 year old car and would consider doing the same if I could find one that had actual decent sound. 

Unless I missed it, I’m not overly surprised that Vanishing Point isn’t on this list considering the audience.
