The REAL "For Glory" mode should be:

MUSHISHIIIIIII

I think Mushishi's already the front-runner for show of the season. Sadly, from looking through the comments, far fewer people watched the premier than I had expected.

WAIT WHAT?! One of my favorite anime (Mushishi) is getting a second season?!!

Mushi-shi (Season 2)

Kill La Kill for most recent. The last few anime I was completely wowed by that I watched recently was Baccano & Eden Of The East.

So tired of shows about high school kids. It's almost an automatic disqualifier at this point.

JOJO and Mushishi on the same day AWWWW YEEEAAAAHHHH! Best day of the week!

Mushi-shi (Season 2)

Considering the ape shit they went with Free! last summer? Nah, we'd have the Otaku complaining so fast.

Kareshi Kanojo no Jijou (aka Kare Kano) anime ended half way through manga though, but manga is translated and worth reading after you watched anime.

Dont pass up Gunbuster, dude. Gainax pioneered sentient-tit anime.

Although it's now fairly old I still enjoy Gunslinger Girls opening and closing credits. It's beautiful:

Because there are consequences for those people, and no magical reset button. And I seem to recall some of those stories took more than one episode. And while each "story" is separate they have an effect on the main character. So it has more continuity than you are give credit for. And the Same for Kino No Tabi, there
