Rolling Loud shown here is pretty genre specific.

Well I think it depends on the type of music. If your a rock fan Rockville has a SOLID 2023 line up.  But yeah more anr moe festivals just throw everything at you.  Like the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo which is you know a RODEO has folks like Bun B and Machine Gun Kelly performing lol.

When We Were Young being the exception. That lineup seems laser focused on a particular demographic.

I’m sure I’ve mentioned this here before, but my brother saw Exorcist III in the theater, and he says not only did everyone scream at the jump scare, most of the audience was so freaked out that they screamed twice.

The Exorcist III is one of the most underrated films ever. That jump scare is an all timer. It’s drawn out for so long and then you’re given the false scare. Really catches you off guard when it finally happens. 

Did he? He also played one in season 2 of You.

Man, they got that monster design just right - believably plastic/rubber, but also just human enough to convey emotion and hit that uncanny spot.

then it works!...you do understand that is what we are going for, right? I think some of them might not be bad enough, frankly.

Came here to post this!  It was 9th grade for me and I could not believe my otherwise competent teacher was showing us this movie.  She warned us about the scene but we just watched it right on VHS tape.  Wild.

I think my eighth grade class watched this... in film strip format. So there was definitely some toplessness going on and well-place hair/hands if I recall. Even as a 13 year old, i recall thinking “why the f are they showing us this in school?”

Too close to Cabin in the Woods, I expect.  But Tremblay (the author) isn’t thrilled with the name change either.
