I don’t like the way some brash newcomer can swan in and say “this is canon now, the rest isn’t any more because we said so in this new film.”

OH and I meant to add ... my wife was in the room kind of half paying attention, that is until Eminem blasted into “Lose Yourself.”  It immediately captured her attention.  So that’s saying something.

Strongly agree.  How could Em NOT do “Lose Yourself”?!  And he nailed it with sheer energy.  Sure, would have loved to hear him do the more flashier lyrical stuff, but this was really, really great.

So excited for this album. I was somewhat ambivalent to Hot Thoughts, that is until I saw them live on that tour. They brought those tunes to life, for sure. Strongly agree that those songs were markedly improved. So glad to hear that they brought that mentality to this album. “Wild” is really fucking good.

I enjoyed Dune quite a bit. My one big knock against it, and I think it’s a problem that merits discussion, is that it is decidedly one half of a movie. It can’t stand on its own. JFC how fucking GREAT is Nabhaan Rizwanin in episode 7?! Goddam.  He deserves more recognition for such a brilliant and touching performance. That episode was the standout of the series so far, by a thousand leaps and bounds. I cried. I cried! It was so, so good.
