no. just no. The ONLY aspect of the original that made it even remotely decent was the rather creative third act twist. Fuck this sequel!

Indeed. I’ve tried with This is Us and it leaves me scratching my head. But people love it.
“Another protip: A video monitor never helped us except to keep us awake more. Audio is all most people need, and they’re far simpler and more reliable over time. You will use them for many years, especially going on vacations or anywhere your kids are in another room.”
This is a freaking amazing story, and I love all the detail you include about your wrenching. I’m a total novice when it comes to this stuff, but I find it utterly fascinating. Your level of knowledge and know-how is extremely impressive.
I’m a gen x’er who enjoyed the silliness of the original Party of Five back in the day. And this one, at least conceptually, seems like a good, timely update. But ... wow the ads make it look like a (inexplicably) schmaltzier This Is Us. I’ll give it a shot but i’m not hopeful.
UGH i hate that movie! Stephen McHattie is awful
based on a terrific book, to boot (AND Fred Astaire’s last movie if I recall)
Looks promising, but wow the translation is ... not good
insane ... with laughter! am i right? or no?
I’m here to repeat for the umpteenth time, I LOVED NOCTURAMA! Perhaps my second favorite movie of the 2010s (after Fury Road). Looking forward to his new one, even if it is muddled.
Are they hot? I live in FL.

yes
You need to be writing more things with James in mind.
ditto!
I simply can’t get my head around this. WHO DID THEY MAKE THIS FOR?! Who wanted this? A movie based on a widely-ridiculed musical that was only enjoyed by NYC tourists in the 1980s? Sounds like a winner!
I feel like if I met you at a dinner party we would be fast friends. What are you doing for dinner?
the son who was learning drums was the friends we made along the way
this is the correct analysis
nerd alert!
enough with the body shaming!
