not enough stars

whaaaaaaat?!  What the heck?  I’m loving the Purple Mountains album and was so looking forward to seeing him on tour.  This is a shock.

Oh god yes. And you forgot to mention that, while there are 5-6 lanes, the police will unpredictably (and inexplicably) close off all but 2 and bottleneck the cars for miles.

That’s a shame about the disability services.

For sure.

I think you’re right.  Looks like it could be Copenhagen too, but the sign is in Dutch so probably Amsterdam.

Tampa is, hands down, the easiest airport to get in and out of. Restaurants are local and good. Flights are generally on time.  That Miami ranks 12 points higher than Tampa on the full list is a fucking joke.  The Miami airport is awful.  Oh and it’s an endless construction zone.

Seattle is fine except when it’s busy it feels REALLY busy because it’s so small.  And they have such limited baggage claim carousels that it’s always a cluster trying to get your bag.

ATLANTA?! I live in the South and fly for work.  I fly into and from Atlanta on the regular.  It’s a hard NO. The Points Guy must be high. It is, at best, tolerable if you have TSA Pre. If not? Good luck!

This is a much better analysis than my “fucking boring” comment.  Haha

Released without bail?! With a prior involving a gun?! THE FUCK!?

UGH how shockingly misguided is Wild Wild West?!  It’s bad in the absolute worst way a movie can be bad - it’s fucking BORING.

? I am not trying to convince anyone of anything.  Just noting that I agree with the original poster that those are the two movies I also did not care for.

We are probably contemporaries.  I took high school typing in, I believe, 10th grade.  We were still using electronic word processors, if I recall.  One of the best classes I’ve ever taken, period.  For two reasons: (i) because being able to type quickly is a fantastic skill to have; and (ii) I was the only guy in the

Oh, and here in Tampa, if there’s lightning within 8 miles (which is like every f’ing day in the afternoon), they prohibit baggage handlers from being on the tarmac.  If they haven’t unloaded your plane, guess what happens?  Go ahead and guess I said!

You’ve obviously never flown into Seattle

Here’s why: now that airlines charge an arm and a leg to check bags, everyone tries to carry on as much as they can. And because all flights nowadays are packed to the gills, the plane WILL run out of overhead space. Gate checking might not be a big deal for you, but for me - a business traveler - it’s a big damn

These are all great tips. I would add one thing: I fly frequently for work, but because my destinations are scattered I don’t have a strong loyalty to one airline. As a consequence, I don’t have elite status on any airline (except Southwest, which is a different ball of beeswax). BUT, I often end up traveling on a

If I had to pick 2 movies that do not - in my opinion - belong on the list, it would be precisely the two you’ve noted. Ripley is just plain dull.  I really didn’t like it.  And Bringing Out the Dead? Meh

This all day. Any lawyer worth her salt can parse these words. The fundamental starting point for statutory interpretation is the plain language. It is bad faith to simply ignore the entire first clause. And of course every conservative knows this. But we are stuck with Scalia’s tortured reading for I guess forever at
