Golden Flake is SO southern. I remember in the olden days there were always ads for Golden Flake potato chips and Osmose pressure treated pine during Gator football games.

I was just in Seattle last week and had my first bag of Hawaiian Luau BBQ chips.  One word - freakingdelicious!

I’d suggest it is, in fact, a triple-red herring. We are meant to think first the horrors are the manifestation of delusions as a consequence of mental illness, then we are meant to think it’s a supernatural haunting, but then we discover it’s actually a physical possession by a real demon.

Just re-watched the film yesterday and this is my stumbling block as well.  To be clear, I love this movie.  Near-perfect horror.  But man, this is a plot hole that is hard to swallow.  I was hoping I’d see something I missed the first time.  But nope.  They just leave it out there.  And the group therapy scene…

It’s odd to me that no one has even bothered to address exactly why they bailed out on this show. All of the reviews were quite positive.

I’m torn re. FNL. I thought Seasons 1 and 2 were near-perfect television. The characters earned so much love because those seasons were so great.  The final season was ... just ok.  It was great to see the characters that we grew to love get satisfying endings, but did we really care about Julie at college?  Or Matt…

I read your post and it’s like hearing thoughts in my own head.  I was SO excited for a Season 4.  And it was a turd.  So much so that I half-assedly watched the first few episodes and then (maybe?) just gave up?  I honestly don’t remember if I even bothered to finish it or not.  And I don’t even care to circle back…

Which seasons were the episodes you watched? I’d go as far to say that the entire first half of Season 1 is just mediocre.  Takes them a while to find their footing.

Yeah, came here to say Season 8 - save a few episodes - is just as awful as Season 9.  I mean like really crappy.  Poor Catherine Tate.  I love her but MAN they could never, ever figure out what to do with her.

It’s also worthwhile to look for financing deals on certified pre-owneds. I bought a 2-year old Mercedes and financed about 3/4 of the purchase because Mercedes was offering a 1.9% rate on a 48 month loan. That allowed me to move the unused cash to my investment account and put it to work (and earn more than 1.9%).
