Ditto.  My impression of these ads were to suggest that Miller Lite and Coors Light were using something cheap and sugary to brew their beers, and therefore “yuck.”  But ironically, my go-to cheap lager is Miller Lite first, Coors Light second, and Bud Light dead last.  Why?  Because it tastes cheap and thin and SWEET!

Oh I’m with you now.  Yes, for a long time I was an adherent to 1, and now I follow 3.

I’m definitely not doing heavy, traditional weight lifting

Here’s my 2 cents if anyone cares ... I have no particular expertise. I’m in really good shape for my age, and I’ve found that if I regularly mix it up, I get the best results. I used to always be a cardio first guy, and I definitely felt like a plateaued. Over the past year or so, I’ve been dedicated to regularly

“I don’t care how long it takes. I will keep you here all night.”

It was just one of those things. I was in love with the concept before it came out (3 endings?!  And you only get 1?!), and then when I saw it the first time I was immediately in love with the movie itself. Couldn’t wait to see it again. And it was out during Christmas break. My grandmother was a pushover, so I saw

Hot Rod is right behind Mean Girls for me.  Fucking brilliant and fun.  “Man, Rod, I’m just green with jealous rage right now.”

Goldeneye is my favorite Bond movie as well.  By a long mile.  And I’m a big Bond fan.  It’s just the perfect Bond film.

I saw it in the theater with only one ending.  And yes.  That sounds about right.  I then saw it twice more so that I could see a couple other endings.  There was some naming convention the theaters used (like maybe “Ending A, Ending B, Ending C”) so you didn’t accidentally repeat an ending.  AND, if I recall

MEAN GIRLS

The Native American storyline is SUCH a misfire.  Also, how does everyone feel about the Mr. Frumpus storyline?  MAN, I can’t help but read the last episode as simply making fun of the #MeToo movement.  If it’s satirical ... what’s the satire?  I’m missing something.

I didn’t dislike it as much as you, but I was definitely disappointed. Conceptually it’s a great idea. But, man, execution ... I don’t know. It had its moments, but it was definitely too long and ... just not very funny. The Lillian gang stuff in particular... ugh. Not funny.

I’m so with you on Rothe.  She was terrific in Happy Death Day.  A big part of making that movie as fun as it is.

You must have Hulu!

I really liked Right Now, Wrong Then.  Looking forward to Hotel By the River.

I found Roma to be rich and wonderful in many respects - the actors (particularly the lead), the technical aspects, the fairly moving, discrete moments (particularly the hospital scene).  But my wife and I also scratched our heads at the end.  Our question ... what exactly is the takeaway?  That having no agency in

This point cannot be made enough.  Florida Project is superb in every way.

I replayed the whole Speed analogy probably five times because I was laughing too hard to take it all in on the first, second, third and fourth tries.

YES, Violetta, THIS! That was precisely my reaction. Chidi’s decision is really selfish in that regard, in that he’s putting Eleanor in the same predicament (and perhaps worse?) by suggesting he be rebooted.

Doesn’t Janet say “I’m ONLY one of those three things”, which makes the line infinitely more funny?
