Half of those guys (specifically the ones doing worse than him), are in there 2nd and 3rd years in minor league (4th-6th seasons) and are downward trajectories. They’ve piqued. It’s Tebow’s first season, he may go down next season, but for now there’s no reason for the team to unload him.

Well said. Like it or not, Tebow fits on the team he’s playing for. Only time will tell if he can improve enough to move up to a double A ball. If he plateaus at his current level, he likely won’t make it more than 2 additional single A seasons.
He’s perfectly average on the team that he’s playing on. You can hate the media coverage, but that’s far from his fault. Blame deadspin and the like.
