Yep, Jack Tretton has already clarified it. Offline gaming requires no DRM. Some publishers could institute online passes, but he believes it to be highly unlikely.

Nobody also wants to be the first guy to say "well, we'll have DRM on Xbox One, but not on PS4."

I think when they restructured, and then dropped online passes, this was the next move.

Realism!

Someone must be relatively new to gaming.

I think you don't understand the idiom "tell us how you really feel."

This is nice, but I'll just use my Vita or an iPad kickstanded up on my coffee table.

The PS Eye isn't mandatory.

Yeah I need to go by a Best Buy and stack it up. I'm pretty excited my Vita is about to become a portable PS4 witmy remote play too.

Yeah I knew my Plus games returned the last time I expired. Stacking subscriptions is amazing.

It strikes me as quite the opposite. Sony knows it will sell. Feels like Microsoft money hatting to get a cut or SE trying to capitalize on new hardware with minimal resources.

I suspect a lot of the rumored Microsoft "reputation control" people have created a ton of burner accounts across the Internet.

He said "it doesn't matter since I buy all my games new anyway" — but I know for fact he upgrades his Call of Duty annually by trading up. So that's out of the window, at least so far. He's kind of a dudebro gamer, which I guess is fine for him.

Just downloaded it for free on PS+.

Alright I am going by Best Buy today then!

Likewise, huh?

Color me surprised then, it's going cross-platform. Will be interesting to see what happens as the sales data rolls in starting this fall. Or maybe they'll release them, and then will nuke any future projects because of a lack of installed base.

And you need to stop living in the past. See what I did there?

News flash: you're in the extreme, extreme minority. You can charm yourself all you want with the old version if a remake was done. The rest of us will enjoy new life breathed into our favorite characters.
