I am 30 today. I’ve decided my birthday resolution is to be Helen Mirren.

At this point I regularly question why I still haven’t quit Facebook. There is very little that I get out of it, and it seems to breed drama and resentment more and more. I have a few friends it’d be very difficult to keep in touch with otherwise, but I think perhaps it’s time to figure out how to do so.

It’s so condescending. That gesture speaks volumes, and I’ve definitely told men to get their hands off of me when they’ve done it.

You know what really grinds my gears? (Since everyone is dying to know.)

I’m not going to argue with the Dame, but I find it far more “posessive” (and generally uncomfortable) when guys put their hands on that space between a girl’s neck and shoulders, like some sort of hand-collar.
