You may have me on a technicality there. It's possible I enjoy the opportunity presented to be a sarcastic lout. I should properly have phrased it as "the technique one needs" though. Honestly, I'm not the only one who needs it…it can be such a powerful tool in the right brain.

Peachy, oh so peachy!

Aw, c'mon, be nice. Their purity balls have just dropped.

It's time to make it a standard that we can only kill (in fiction) or abuse (also in fiction) straight white men between the ages of 18 and 50, and those white men must be physically fit, single, and Catholic (or possibly atheist, depending how you feel about atheism.) Everybody else is to be invulnerable to any sort

The original 100 have been reduced to around 40 by this point, they killed 300 on the Ark in one episode, several hundred Grounders at the end of season 1, and everybody in Mount Weather in season 2. Clarke alone has a body count of about 800 men, women, and children, of all genders.

I get a major cognitive disconnect with Susan Heyward as Deena, because she’s actually dead solid perfect for Enki Sunrise, and through most of the season that’s how they wrote her, too. I do wish they’d given her a bit more to do other than stand around and fire off occasional sullen comments.

It’s on Crackle.

ComiXology has new deals, albeit a bit thin in the offerings in this Superman/Batman (and occasional Wonder Woman) sale at around 45% off:

For a lot of people, this is going to be an upgrade — a lot of people bought the first couple of films on DVD, as opposed to Blu-Ray, and those who bought the first film on Blu-Ray discovered that the special features disc was SD DVD, so this set provides an upgrade to HD for the feature set of the first film (as well

Everything new is old again. Actually, the New 52 was officially deceased after Convergence, when they started DC You. The Nu52 books that made it this far are being allowed to go to 52. Which I've always said was the plan. Whether it's a good plan is an open question.

#52 will bring the series to a close, actually, and will be followed by Batman: Rebirth and a new #1.

Pink Floyd's "What Do You Want From Me" https://youtu.be/vPQA5LsduTs is pretty much Gilmour ripping into Roger Waters, particularly with "you can sell your soul for complete control." THE DIVISION BELL is a rather angry album driven by the then-ongoing feud between Gilmour and Waters.

Ahead of the release of Batman V Superman, Comixology has a World’s Finest sale running on issues #285-323 (the earlier available issues are already mostly priced at 99 cents as they only include part of the issue) along with the Dave Gibbons/Steve Rude miniseries, and half a dozen issues from the end of the New 52

As for the Batman v Superman sales...well, I might do a full upgrade on the Batman Anthology, although I have the DVD edition of it, and the two films from it on Blu-Ray that I want on Blu-Ray. So it would be mainly to get the features in HD.

She did, iirc, but this was definitely a case where the character could have been reassigned, or simply left the city. Killing her always seemed a bit spiteful.

And I don’t think you’re alone in reacting that way to my comment. Truth, unfortunately, can engender such reactions, but I credit you with the realization of the context for its application — the unthinking rage that’s on display and that’s led to death threats against various people involved with the series,

The first season of FtWD was six episodes, and in the can before she did her stint on the second season of The 100 — in which she appeared in a limited number of episodes. The second season of FtWD is considerably longer.
