I’ve been putting this off, pending price, as I want to upgrade from the DVDs. Now’s the time.

I’m going to give Pantry a go shortly. I’m curious about it.

The Criterion Collection had three films with their own unique commentaries...Thunderball, Dr. No, From Russia With Love. The license was yanked, unfortunately, and the discs recalled. The commentaries are available on the net, and somebody made DVD versions of the laserdiscs (I came across them five or six years ago.)

It’s really hard to tell. The problem may be that they’ve done so much repackaging since the first DVDs that people have burned out on buying new versions. The Bond50 set is still readily available, for example, and this one, which was set up as an Amazon Exclusive, seems not to have been a big seller — possibly

The commentaries on most of the films are worth the purchase price, and the special feature set has been exemplary since the second generation of the DVDs, despite them not getting the rights to the Criterion Laserdisc commentaries.

It's the tactilneck, isn't it? Changes a man's character completely.

I must be from Earth-2. I've always said I'm a lesbian trapped in a man's body.

YEAAAAAAAAAHHHH!

Yeah, it's a stunt man with Tony Todd dubbing the voice. They plan to do a full reveal eventually, but they haven't cast an actor for Zoom yet. It would be cool of they actually used Todd, though. He's awesome.

Could be Daniel West. If they do Evil Eddie Thawne, it would basically be Cobalt Blue (which I suppose is possible, considering Zoom is bright blue.)

Tyhat calls for a whole new spin-off — BREAKING FLASH.

There'll be a new half of Firestorm for Legends Of Tomorrow.

I think that was Jeph Loeb. Who then brought Jason back as Giant Red Penis.

Jamaica Air Taxi. or the Alcan plane(s)? Either one was a riot back wheb I lived in Jamaica — the JAT pilots would take off at an angle where the treetops would make the wheels spin, and the Alcan pilots were cowboys (and trained by a real cowboy bush pilot from the States, who once flew me in to Montego Bay

That slide whistle is something composer John Barry thought was a good idea at the time he put it in...and he regretted it for the rest of his life. The producers were happy enough with the idea, but they were happily shitting all over the franchise with the broad comedy characters, too.

That said, Untold History is actually very even-handed and not rabbit-holey, which surprised me a little. Unfortunately, the series does focus on the 20th Century and onwards, and tends to have more of a world focus than might be expected.
