Eh, the Dothraki seem to be Mongols who 1) did not have much trouble with heavy infantry and 2) did fine in the Russian winter.

To be fair to them, I'd relish any chance to get back at those highborn incompetents, no matter how petty. It's not inconsistent to cheer for the humiliation of both sides when you hate them all

He's already trying to convince them of one insane, impossible thing. No need to give them another excuse to think he's crazy and ignore him.

They live in a world where bending publicly = weakness and weakness = target.

I actually think seeing a superhero' story exclusively through the eyes of the love interest seems like it could be a pretty fun movie. Maybe it wouldn't have been a great take on Wonder Woman, but as an idea it doesn't seem totally unworkable.

Does it bother you that they're appropriating the shit out of New York City? (Assuming you're American.) if the answer is no in that case, I'm not sure why it wouldn't be no in the other case.

I found that it was shot through with a "good enough" ethic that I found pretty annoying. Not much about it was actively bad (fetch quests excepted.) But the world building was pretty lackluster. The politics don't make much sense when you step back and think about them, the characters' motivations are inconsistent,

Says you

Same.

Can you just shoot him?

Well they're still alive, aren't they? That's a damn sight better than I thought they'd be doing post-Dreamcast.

There actually was a Korean soldier at Normandy. He'd been conscripted by the Japanese, captured by the Russians, conscripted by the Russians, captured by the Germans, conscripted by the Germans and ended up getting captured by the Americans who broke the combo and let him live in Illinois.

Someday someone with power at one of those studios will notice that 1) there are a lot of Chinese people and 2) they would probably like a game about their own WW2 history. Then we'll get a good second Sino-Japanese war game.

CoD: Napoleon could be pretty fun.

Sorry. I guess I didn't mean to imply that gender dysphoria was a psychosis, just that whatever she's dealing with might be the beginning of some new kind of mental illness.

Little known fact, Ancein Regime Fance was super into meth.

Don't psycoses sometimes appear or disappear? I'm thinking of the fugue state which IIRC was fairly common for a time in France but is now nearly unheard of.

I think Inquisition was a poison chalice for Bioware. Honestly, it doesn't hold up much better than Andromeda nowadays but it had the dual advantages of coming in the middle of a RPG dead zone and before we'd all played the witcher 3.

Oddly my experience was the other way around. IIRC I happened to have a holy absorbing item equipped which made him way less deadly. Belias beat the stuffing out of me though.

He's a lot of fun, especially dual wielding Excalibur and God Save the Queen. But yeah, there is just no way he should be a main party member.
