Family friends decided to homeschool because their dream house is in a terrible, terrible district and so their daughters are way ahead and their oldest is taking college classes at 16. She commutes though and said straight out hell to the no am I going anywhere not driving distance until grad school.

My question is...then why keep the stuff?

When I was 10, our family flew with my aunt and uncle and their kids for the first and only time. We discovered my aunt is THAT person who screams at every bump.

I wouldn’t be surprised at all. Cranston has a good tv reputation for both comedy and drama so he’s seen as capable for both. He can take the hit like this and make a passion project if he doesn’t do it too often.

Where are all the think pieces about the boomers fucking up every 10 minutes?

And a lot of women are at home for 10+ years and than are blowing up my email super confused why being the bestest Teacher Helper and Snack Maker for 10 years doesn’t let you go back in the career you left in the early 00's pre terrible economy.

I’m in staffing and this is 100% true. The number of women who are so screwed by staying home with their kids is astounding. Don’t give up your jobs completely, employers don’t give a damn how much work you put into PTA/soccermom/sunday school etc. The more time you are out of the workforce you are that much more

Seriously or communal living will be become more popular. They were already starting to see a rise in that. We have these huge mcmansions that people can’t afford so more than one family living and working together could be comfortable. Though I’m sure authorities/government would step in and say something like one

You know I didn’t even think of that. We’re 31, I’ve only been in a couple weddings since I’m more of an introvert but I know 2 of the 3 have near professional status as bridesmaids. They’re probably just trying to avoid a future problem. I solved the shoe question by letting the three of them work it out amongst

I picked a Blue I liked at David’s Bridal, it’s a common color, I can get the same for the groomsman at Men’s Wearhouse and both stores are within everyone’s budgets. Bridesmaids immediately asked about accent colors, and what shoes do they need and I was just like I thought I just needed to pick blue.

Omg the colors! God damn the colors. I had a discussion not just just the color but the complimentary colors. The fuck!

Geekboys sister and her husband are barely paying bills, he’s 39 and she’s 40, they have an adorable 1st grader who’s a delight and finally in school full time. She’s had employment security issues for the last few years, her husband works HVAC which is manual hard work for hours. They are trying for a 2nd....they

You mean like how so many of them relied on their parents to take care of their children while they were working? You mean that whole issue? Also they get sympathy for having to work longer than they expected when they take responsibility for the shitty economy that was tanked when I graduated college in 2008.

You mean the girl who was probably raised by nannies and probably has nannies/child care people in her employ. Probably not. She’s 3rd generation wealthy that’s another level.

Hence why How to Get Away with Murder gets me to come back each week. Because what crazy ass thing happened this week.

What’s funny is she just popped up as the mom of a character on How to Get Away with Murder. An ABC show about law students at an elite law school. I’m really hoping she’ll be a supporting role or maybe a good reception on that combined with this might lead to something with the Grace under Fire sensibility.

Is....is this a real show? Not Hee Haw. I’ve heard of that, but the Priscilla Presley and Burgess Meredith thing? When was this? What do I need to YouTube? I’m 31 for age context not a youth.

An old coworker of mine, during one of her pregnancies gagged drinking or smelling anything but organic milk. Whatever it kicked on stayed and she can tell instantly if it’s organic milk or not.

This generations Richard Burton and Liz Taylor?

Robert Osborne did a panel with a bunch of child actors from like the 30's-40s including Margaret O’Brien. There was one guy, his father either died or couldn’t work and so him working was literally the only thing that kept the family fed. He didn’t hit Mickey Rooney level of fame but he seemed to work steady enough
