There’s bad food in every genre of restaurants but something about bad Chinese restaurants is *especially* bad. Oh and Chinese buffets are the absolute nadir.

But then I’m prejudiced against deep-fried stuff since something about my mouth-chemistry/anatomy means that if I eat a single french fry or cocktail shrimp, I get this recurrent, hours-long metallic taste in my mouth that nothing can cover or wash out.…
