Amen. I’m married with a kid and work too many hours a week. It’s a friggin’ blessing to be able to watch ANY PART of a race, a miracle the whole thing. I shouldn’t have to spend all of my free time hunting out YouTube streams or figuring out which VPN to use when all I want to do is turn on a race for an hour or so.

It would be great to have been able to watch this race like I watched the Trofeo and GT3 races for the last two days, but apparently, IMSA doesn’t have the balls to put in their contract with Fox that they’ll also stream their “money shot” races.

Get better officials? Stop making rules that are so convoluted that lawyers-turned-part-time officials can’t figure them out (NFL)? Actually train officials? Be consistent (and not just consistently bad)? Incorporate useful technologies?

I wish post game pressers were nothing but players and coaches railing against the officials. If they have to fine every person who has a mic in there face after every game, maybe they’ll eventually get the idea that the officiating in major league sports sucks. Plus, we’ll get more “Take that for data” moments.
