My wife has an Escape which will be used the vast majority of the time for hauling the kid and their shit. I’ll still need the ability to fit a rear-facing seat, diaper bag, stroller, etc. for rare occasion that we would have to take my car, though.

I can sort of relate. Last year in the Playoffs, the Pels were up by 20 on the Warriors, and I thought, “Man, this team has arrived!” Then GS easily came back, crushed the Pels, and ended all hope of a single win. You had to marvel at the ease with which they scored. But, goddamn does it drive you insane.
