Great idea! I wonder though, how quickly this will turn into something resembling my daughter's finger-painting projects.

Looks like Fences on there as well for the icons, unless I'm mistaken.
I recently bought a Zotac ZBOX, which also came with a VESA mounting bracket. I wanted to hook it up to my 42" TV in my living as an HTPC. I was a bit disappointed though, as the mounting bracket was designed only for a monitor - it wasn't large enough to mount to the TV. It sounds like you haven't done it yet - if…
I use this method all the time (thanks to the aforementioned Lifehacker article). Tastes great - and after you empty the popcorn you can throw it back in the microwave to continue popping the unpopped kernels from the first go-around. AND, if you're really efficient you can re-use the bag to make more for the family!
Just wondering if anyone's come across a way to bypass Google Voice's international restrictions? As thoroughly impressed as I am by "Google Voice... for pets", I'd prefer they refocus their attention into expanding the service into other locations rather than other species.
If I could somehow add the 'grinding' noise made by the 1541 disk drive to the beautiful C64 wallpaper every time I launched a program, that'd be nerd-tastic.
My even-more-nerdy-than-me brother told me about it, actually. It used to be a cumbersome VPN network setup, but just recently I went to use it and it had suddenly morphed into "Spotflux". Very slick & easy to operate, or to turn on/off as needed.
I've been using Spotflux - I get all programming content from Hulu, etc. as well as Pandora. Works like a charm! [launch.spotflux.com]
So, for extra body should we use Guinness? ;)
I left my Blackberry Curve 8330 (hey - it's my work phone!) in a restaurant after a business lunch about 6 months ago. It was pretty much dead when I left the office, so not only did someone turn it in, the restaurant owner actually charged it first and then obtained my contact info from the login screen. It's…
I'm pretty sure this is how Peter Parker always gets those great shots of Spiderman, isn't it?
Sounds like you might be making it too thick. I do the dimple trick all the time, except I will actually poke a hole right through. When my burger hits the grill, it looks like a donut. The hole in the middle makes sure you cook it right through as well, which eliminates the chance that your 'ball of meat' is…
I moved from the Toronto area to rural Saskatchewan about 6 years and absolutely love it! We're 10 min from a 'city' of 6000 people that offers most of the needed conveniences that urbans centres offer. We have a Tim Horton's, so I'm happy. The biggest negative as far as I'm concerned is: absolutely crappy…
I like Sumatra and used to use it, but I'm using PDF X-change right now. Sumatra's great, and I had no problem with the speed... it's the yellow, man; I just couldn't take it.
@cisengineer: Dad? Is that you? #heating
I love the IDEA of the USB coffee warmer. But I've yet to find the right mug to make it work. Most mugs do not have a flat bottom, so the only part touching the warmer is the outer bottom rim - which is not enough surface area to keep my coffee warm.
@DaNich: That was hilarious!
This is great! And the timing couldn't be better - I just installed Better Gmail v0.8.2 yesterday, and spent the evening falling in love with it and lamenting the fact that the Folders4Gmail wasn't working.
