yeah i was hoping that they would now start the exploratory mission as they did on the original show, but it’s still about loads of explosions and action

I have to agree.. I really get tired of endless action scenes. I want plot, character interaction, etc. The last movie had a chase scene at the end that seemed to go on forever. I got up and went to the bathroom and when I came back, Spock and Khan were still going at it. I didn’t miss much. It’s sad, really. The same…

You know, I liked the first reboot movie. And I even thought Into Darkness was ok...but this? Even I, as an extremely casual Treker (I loved Next Gen, but not overly wild about most of the other stuff) feel this just continues the trend of making something different and slapping on the name of something else onto it…

Just another action movie. Won’t pay full retail.
