Interesting! I’m no lawyer but I was under the impression that losses were pretty certainly unrecoupable. Interesting to note that in the past few months, at least one judge has ruled otherwise. Thanks for the link.

So, the creator willingly admits that he began a Kickstarter (with the requirement to fulfill pledges or refund the money) knowing that it wouldn’t be enough money to fulfill those pledges. Sounds as though he just gave anyone who wants to file a claim all the proof they need.
Nope, it looks completely ridiculous.
I grabbed it a few weeks ago and I’m having a blast. The key is to find a tribe/group that is active. The game can feel very daunting on your own and it basically forces you to join a tribe at some point to continue (since you can’t learn every skill). That said, I found it easy to join a tribe and you find that…
Nope!
you are not.
I’d say yeah, totally. A few friends and I run our own private server for it (be aware, it continues even if nobody’s on it... so pull it down before walking away). I’d say go for it. Drag your friends. Remember: Narcotics are a dino-tamer’s best friend!
If you have the time to invest then yes, go for it.
When it was new it was a really fun game, and there was quite the race/culture war between the Chinese and everyone else. I would suggest if you start playing you try to hunt down a new server. They’ve only done a wipe once (that I know of) and some of the older servers are probably covered with metal structures that…
I put in over 300 hundred hours and I’d just wait. The game is most fun when it’s fresh and terrifying. But it’s incredibly unbalanced, even PVE now. All you basically need to do is easily tame one dino you can ride and the rest is over. Either you can run away better or simply kill better. Every dino is basically OP…
It’s pretty good. There’s a few little quirks here or there that will annoy you, but if you play offline, you can control your experience by copying the “ARK” directory somewhere else and launching the game from there. Allows you to scope things out with the real (updated by steam) version first.
My friend called me last week about exactly this. Her sister gave her a 30 min lecture on being a bad mother for eating a sub sandwich while pregnant. Her sisters always a pain in the ass to her but this was just ridiculous.
Just noticed we posted the same comment at the same time. MIND MELD!
I like how griefers can get permabanned and forced to be characters in someone else’s game of Prison Architect.
He’s a bigfoot yeti still punches like a human.
At some point someone is going to have to foot the bill for all that damage.
Mmmmmmm desiccated crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside...
Wow...
“- Deporting people born in the United States because their parents were not born in the United States
- Deporting thousands of people per day until the United States is entirely emptied of non-citizens”
Similar things are said by the NPD here in Germany. And they are nothing else then a Neo-Nazi Organisation. Yes…
I like this one dialogue exchange between Anakin and Obi-Wan in the Clone Wars comics. There’s this planet where the current government has sided with the Republic while a significantly large rebel group has sided with the Confederacy. During a battle, Anakin and Obi-Wan overhear two rebels in a foxhole discussing the…
