While the equipment and labels are inaccurate, the simple science of weight lose remains true. If you eat more calories than you burn, you gain weight. If you eat fewer calories, you loose weight. The quality of this weight lose may not be what you desire, but the science will never fail.

The sprawling suburbs only exist because there is demand. More people desire to live outside the urban core, but could live closer to the core and save time outside of traffic.

Los Angeles proper does not stretch any more than 44 miles in any direction (north-south is measured at 44 miles). There is affordable housing throughout he entire city regardless at which north-south mile marker you take into consideration, you just need to travel east or west and that can only account for a maximum

Long commutes are just part of certain city cultures. Just ask anyone who lives in LA, SF and NY. These cities require that you sit through traffic, some handling public transportation better than others. However, the standard of living far outweighs the stress created by traffic.

Both cities have affordable living in the city, but most people are too lazy to search for it. They get this mythical idea that the housing doesn't exist and settle for living elsewhere. Never settle.

I was hesitant to switch to GM from Apple Maps for the longest time and recent made the jump. I couldn't be happier with the lane suggestions, traffic alerts, etc. I just wish Apple would let me switch my default map application without a jailbreak.

There are rent controlled apartments in SF. Also, apartments outside of the trendiest neighborhoods will be comparable in price. It's a huge myth that you cannot find apartments in SF for anything under $3,000./month.

Why not move into the city? Rent in the Bay Area is absurd no matter where you live.

Why would you live somewhere that has no nearby jobs?

Do Los Angelenos prefer the Rams, Raiders or Chargers to take their skills to Los Angeles? I can't imagine all three making the move, but bringing both the Rams and Raiders home would be quite the story line. How would fans pick sides? Who do Laker fans pledge allegiance to? How about those make-believe Clipper fans?

"I've got a feeling..." Balmer is one crazy SOB and I can't imagine a better character for the NBA.

Why is there an HD-DVD player hiding on top of your Xbox 360? :)

Honestly, 3GB is not a whole lot when you have a 4G LTE connection. Just browsing the internet at stop lights racks up nearly 100MB a day.

I used to love Micro Center. I live across the street from our local store and it was super convenient. Recently, I've decided to boycott the store. During my most recent visit, three sales associates didn't realize that I was in their vicinity and started making fun of a customer. They called him a "ret*ard" and then
