Ooh, also don’t cross diagonally to get to the entrance of the store when you’re walking.

When walking to or from your vehicle, don’t walk in the middle of the f’n aisle.

They’re not cutting manufacturing workers. The cuts are to salaried employees. It wouldn’t affect production directly.

Umm... yes, you answered your question. that is all any company currently does.

I don’t understand the Tesla cuts. Are BEV vehicles, especially Teslas, no longer in demand? My understanding is BEV vehicles cannot be made fast enough and that Tesla as a brand is still in massive demand. So, why cut workers? Unless all you want to do is maximize profits/value for more short term gains...?

200k household in San Diego. We were “lucky” to buy a house here in 2020 before prices went truly insane. With a 2 year old in daycare added into our budget, I think its insane that we would not be eligible for a tax credit.  We didnt get a penny for any COVID related stimulus or the child tax credit and whatever,

We want people to buy EVs, so let’s make them cheaper.

$100k is lower middle class in the northeast, especially with housing prices increasing by double digits every year while my salary gets a 1-2% annual bump. I guess I can afford a Bolt if I finance it for 5+ yrs, but that looks like the only EV that’s in my budget.

I wrote nearly this exact same thing last week. The only way EVs reach critical mass is the tech gets to mass-market cars. 40K 45K, it really doesn’t matter, Right now EVs are rich people’s cars. Yes we are finally starting to see cars from main line manufacturers but even those tend to trend toward the top end of

Yeah, maybe, but they need to make the levels more realistic. Like set the upper limit on income to $250k and the price per vehicle to $65k. $100k/yr is not wealthy in a lot of places across the country.

The second he declares he’s running all that money falls under the rules of campaign funds and what you can and can’t do with it.

He’s far more fit than that fat ass Orangutan trump. You notice that trump gets louder and dirtier when he gets scared of his perceived competition. But trump will not be running in 2024, it’s all a scam. The second he declares he’s running all that money falls under the rules of campaign funds and what you can and

I’ve been riding and racing for 20 years and have seen experienced cyclists who ride over 10,000 miles a year fall over in that same manner. I think it is great that a man in his 70's is out there getting some exercise instead of sucking down Diet Cokes and lying about his weight while trying to end democracy.

It really is a shame. I’m not a brand snob, but quality issues aside (which I know is a big ask) it would be nice to be able to look at a Tesla side-by-side with the competition. But nah, I’m out.

Never before have I ever seen a CEO so hell-bent on destroying their own company. From turning off customers by revealing that they are more or less a MAGA idiot, fucking around and getting themselves in trouble with financial regulators, loudly proclaiming he has a “ bad feeling” and that he needs to lay off 10% of

“So we need to rally hard to recover!”

They are idiots. They aren’t smart enough to figure out what they stand for. They have to be told what to be mad about.

Grift.

I believe they are for disrupting other people’s ability to earn a living by blocking transportation and supply lines, all in the name of media time talking about some change or unchange, or whatever.

I wondered how long it would take for consumers to sour on their business model of buying used cars and charging thousands of dollars more than brick and mortar dealerships. Carvana is the Ticketmaster of used cars.
