The only thing trump can do is stroke 2 guys at once.

Tesla is a car company and unless it starts focusing on building more competitive products then the traditional manufactures are going to gobble up their market share.

That world already exists everyone drives an oversized truck or SUV in silver, gray, or white.

A credible complaint but if you’re using iridium (I’m assuming Honda/Toyota)

Context the testing/ratings changed in 2023 as a result of new testing.
The marginals appear in the force to the chest category and are likely due to belts being higher.
MFGs will chase the rating and fix.

So many of these don’t belong on this list.

I say post it. People can have hurt feelings while losing their ignorance. If chargers are available that max you car you should chose those first.

Pfft minivans are the new starter home/tiny house and they aren’t going anywhere.
Great for new grads. Great place to start a family and then you can use it to drive them around in it. /s

I still remember before the covid car price spike just before the battery recall when when 2 year old Bolts where going for 10-12k used.

Again throw around likely all you want. I’ve run the numbers it doesn’t work for me and anyone with a family or people at home during the day that isn’t on the coast is going to lose also.

Cost of cooling your house has everything to do with charging your car when when charging your car requires TOU rate plans with huge rates during the peak hours when you have people home everyday and when AC usage is highest.

I didn’t say anything about an apartment but thats even more people affected. California pop is 40 million, SCE serves 15 million customers and more people are home during the day now than ever before so time of use rates kill savings even if you charge your car off hours but need to exist at home during the daytime.

I get how this may seem like BS, but for many it is reality.
I like the idea of electric. I was stoked for less maintenance, no more oil changes and saving money. But in reality it doesn’t pan out.

why isn’t it a hatchback/sportback? Trunk lid cutout on the C pillar is killing me.

65 vs 50 is a difference of 420 dollars (a 6$/gal) per year assuming 15,000 miles annually.
That might get some hypermilers and spreadsheet lovers
but making the car less of penalty box by giving it more power (and better looks) will get more people to jump from 25-30mpg cars into the Prius which would save them $1,200-

I understand your enthusiasm but from a business stand point holding the same outstanding fuel economy while providing more power opens this up to many more buyers.

Real world ROI for customer to jump from current to 65+ is minimal.

The increased all electric and more power overall actually make this vehicle a

But Elon said it will be here any day now.

Elon’s musk slinking up the joint. Nobody wants it now

Yes, it is. 17 years ago we barely had 1 or 2 hybrids available and trucks didn’t even have DPFs yet.

Trucks are one of if not the top source of smog and air pollution in California.

They aren’t just picking on them for fun. Residents are already paying for the externalities (see diesel death zones) of California handling the bulk of all goods entering the country from Asia.

17 years is alot of time to sort it out
