Apparently this website has grown since I last checked it out. Can’t find the part about the dead hookers though:
You also have to remember that Munch was in the X-file universe as well.
Props to Annie for mentioning the Soul Asylum reissues. Those are a lot of fun. Surprised no one mentioned the Spinnanes reissue of Manos and Songs:Ohia reissue package of The Lioness.
Only 80%?
I had the Death Cab on mine too - it really is a great pop album - and they’re still fun live.
Nice call on First Aid Kit - forgot them off mine - and the EP is gold.
No particular order

No boygenius? Hopefully only cause its an EP, but other than Mitski, my favorite of the year. And from that group, I can’t believe Lucy Dacus’ Historian isn’t on here.
The Quiet American by Graham Greene. Well told story of a time (1950s) and place (Vietnam) few Americans know a lot about.
January of last year I read Johnny Panic and the Bible of Dreams - a bunch of her short stories. Not every one is a winner, but those that are stick.
I’m ok with having more pictures of Daisy Ridley in the world, even if it has nothing to do with the article.
Nice list - just one left off....
Well, the lead singer is married to Carey Mulligan, so he must be doing something right (like being rich).
Came here to say Mitski - saw here twice this year - once in Santa Monica still touring Puberty 2 and then in DC touring Be the Cowboy. Both were great, but the DC show was magical.
Saw here in Boston last November and the experience was the same....
All the cool kids know each other.
Didn’t watch Iron Fist, but the mention of Moon Knight and a possible show makes me happy.
Also, the woefully tuneless Wallflowers cover of Bowie’s “Heroes”
And being denied taco trucks on every corner.
