I really liked Go On as he had a supporting cast that was great - just wasn’t given enough time to develop.

The best Yes and ELP album of the 80s was done by Asia.
One can make that case - although you have other band members to blame that one on as well. But at least it has some “interesting” guitar rather boring, staid production.

Agreed on the Final Cut. In fact, it’s quite a great album. It is mainly a Roger Waters solo album with other fine musicians (and a killer solo on Not Now John).
