Dammit! I am genuinely disappointed by this. Oh well, maybe when I get Deathloop I can make up for it..........

Didn’t Fallout 3 have a dedicated kick button? I haven’t played in a long time, but I have a very clear memory of pulling the pin in the grenade belt of an outpost guard on a ledge with his back to me, and then kicking that guard onto some friends standing below. He landed and there was a big explosion.

Amen to that. I made an extremely mild post in that last thread about Jennings basically saying that I prefer not to watch Jeopardy if Jennings hosts (as a person with a physical disability, his tweet really rubbed me the wrong way), but that everyone has their own line for this kind of thing and to each their own.

I have been less hyped for this than most. Don’t get me wrong. the first was a good game and I am def. playing the sequel. The throwing axe and some of the nods to the previous series are incredible (I want to be specific, but I am avoiding spoilers). But some of the combat and setting left me cold for some reason-I

This review (which was well written as always) is very focused on the Rebecca-Sam storyline-which is fine, everyone has their own focus when they watch something. But I think this episode did some really transformational things for the characters on the show (by thinking about father-son dynamics) that weighed much

I actually think we are in total agreement. I have very little hope that the second season will be good for the exact reasons you state. I just adore the cast and TNG characters so much that I really want it to work. But it probably won’t. The writing has to improve massively to make a viable show, and I don’t see

I really hope the second season is good. Jean-Luc Picard is one of the best characters in television history, and deserves a lot better than the mess we got in season one.

I still don’t understand how no one involved with Studio 60 realized that in order to pull of a show about a sketch comedy program, the jokes actually have to be funny. The lack of any humor killed that show.

I have not seen this remake and never will. I am fine with pretending that the 1994 Lion King is the only movie version that exists. Thank you for your time.

I was bothered by the line you quoted. Examining what happened during a development cycle to see what could have been done better strikes me as largely positive thing. Naughty Dog saying that they do this doesn’t automatically mean the company did not learn lessons from any of the other examinations; it could just as

Since you are so good at reading stuff, here is something from my post to read: “I don’t blame anyone who would still like to see Jennings host-everyone has their line about such things, but this is mine.”

There is plenty of room for him to grow, and I hope he does. It would be great if he did. There is just plenty of other entertainment for me to watch that doesn’t feature a 40 year old man saying stuff that I knew not to say when I was 8.

How sad for me. Oh wait, it isn’t. I don ‘t care at all about your opinion. I hope your childish outburst made you feel better though.

No.

Good. Reading his tweets is when I decided that I would not watch Jeopardy anymore if he was hosting it, which I posted in the AV Club hosts thread.

I had it stuck in my head while I was reading this interview! :)

Mr. Diggs is so talented and has done so much good stuff, but I absolutely adore the character of Helen on Central Park. So incredibly funny every time Helen is on screen.

This documentary sounds very well done, but I don’t think I can watch it. My wife and I were living in Virginia at the time of the attack. I had passed through the Pentagon metro station minutes before the plane hit on my way to DC for a law school class, and she worked close enough to the Pentagon that the crash

Dr. Strange tampering with space and time on a whim like this doesn’t make much sense, but I have a feeling that the rest of this is going to be so good that I am not going to care very much about how it got kicked off.

I have been gaming for decades-I had a Pong and an Atari 2600 as my first home console (not to mention cutting my teeth on those great Sierra PC games). I simply do not understand the appeal of all these games now where you just do chores that I play games to escape from. I am not knocking it, and I am glad people
