This documentary sounds very well done, but I don’t think I can watch it. My wife and I were living in Virginia at the time of the attack. I had passed through the Pentagon metro station minutes before the plane hit on my way to DC for a law school class, and she worked close enough to the Pentagon that the crash

Dr. Strange tampering with space and time on a whim like this doesn’t make much sense, but I have a feeling that the rest of this is going to be so good that I am not going to care very much about how it got kicked off.

I have been gaming for decades-I had a Pong and an Atari 2600 as my first home console (not to mention cutting my teeth on those great Sierra PC games). I simply do not understand the appeal of all these games now where you just do chores that I play games to escape from. I am not knocking it, and I am glad people

Honestly, as hard to watch as the results of the snap are, I am always more disturbed by Loki’s death in the first few minutes. The struggle and the neck snap, ugh.

There are a lot of great things about Avengers: Infinity War, the second-highest earner at the 2018 box office, but the greatest is Thanos. A couple of decades earlier, the villain had been the psychedelic vision of bugged-out Marvel weirdo Jim Starlin. Starlin had conjured a space-opera nihilist in love with the

I really like what Sam Elliot did with that role, but what an amazing idea this is. Would have been fantastic.

“Chadwick Boseman as a drug dealer hoping to go straight as a magician is one of my favorites. Their casting people deserve a ton of credit.”

I am glad he enjoyed playing Nicky Augustine as much as we enjoyed watching it. That scene at the end of Justified Season 4 where Nicky and Raylan face off in the back of a limo is just fantastic television.

Ok, I know no one is going to read this because this episode aired a year and a half ago (right before the pandemic really hit, so it actually feels like a lifetime ago). But because this is one of my favorite Rick and Morty adventures, I was rewatching last night and found a joke I completely missed all the other

Slight spoilers for anyone who has not seen the Christmas episode:

I fully agree with this well written piece. I know mileage varies and all that, but I just have a hard time seeing how this episode on this show would be “controversial” for anyone. The subject of Christmas fits the sensibilities of the world Ted Lasso has built like a glove. This series has never made any effort to

Much appreciated!

1. This headline made me laugh.

Not to speak for Zach (who wrote yet another great Trek review!) but I believe the top says five episodes were watched for review.

In some episodes, the Lower Decks “rookies” were incredibly stupid and juvenile (as well as unprofessional, which begs the question of what the hell the Academy does when it “trains” these people) while in others, an absurd amount of graphic violence and death was used for “comic effect.””

My two sons have had a lot of tolerance and even some love for the old shows that Dad used to watch. But I have not been able to get them into Star Trek generally; they have tried to watch TNG and DS9 with me, but mostly end up politely bored.

Very true

I am unreasonably excited about this series. When I was a kid, I had subscriptions to three comics: Amazing Spider-Man, Batman, and What If....

Thanks for the response, and the great review! I am really looking forward to regular Lasso coverage.

The thing that horrified me was when Shyamalan took a great movie (Unbreakable) and combined it with another great movie (Split) to create one of the biggest turds to ever grace the cinema (Glass).
