If I can’t play my PS4 version of Risk on PS5, I don’t see the point of purchasing a PS5.

Slight spoilers below for a very old movie, I guess:

Ok, I have always had a wierd discomfort with teeth. Its a thing. I hate the sound they make when they click together or grind, and I just think these wierd mouth bones I have are generally nasty. My family mocks me about this constantly-leaving joke teeth on my desk, my son buying a Play-Doh dentist set just because

All great movies, but glad you mentioned Gattaca-an underrated classic.

Thanks! Very kind of you to say and to read.

I agree on all counts.

I know I just wrote a long self indulgent post below, but if you will indulge me one more I want to say why I have always liked Good Will Hunting. The story of how me and my wife fell in love is kind of similar to the “Have to go see about a girl” story Robin Williams tells in the movie.

My Mom and I have always been really close-she is a great person and a fantastic Mom. I only remember two times in my whole life that she was visably upset with me. The first was when I got frustrated about something when I was eight and threw a ball in the house that broke a window.

Yeah, I had a similar experience. I had been married for two weeks when Phantom Menace came out, and me and my new bride went to see the movie on opening day expecting a party atmosphere. There was some clapping at the beginning, but other than that the whole room just seemed baffled by the whole thing.

Ok, so this movie is obviously pretty dumb and cheesy. But, I still remember that me and a group of ten friends saw this on opening weekend and had an absolute blast. The whole theater was laughing and cheering, and it was kind of glorious. This movie was never gonna win an Oscar, but it was a whole lot of fun.

I was 9 when the Challenger disaster happened, and I watched the whole thing unfold sitting in my 3rd grade class. I was going to law school in Washington DC when 9/11 happened. I am not ashamed to say that I still often feel like crying when I think about both.

My post contains implied spoilers, I guess. Like the article, read at your own risk.

Everybody has that one movie that they will love forever, regardless of the passage of time or how they change as a person. 1989 Batman is that movie for me.

Gaming can be weird sometimes, and how you do in a section can be tied to how tired you are, how preoccupied etc. The two spots you mention are an example for me. I played TLOU the first week it was out, and I remember having a very hard time with the burned out houses part. I told friends it was a great example of

-The ending of TLOU is one of my favorite in all of gaming, so it is worth getting through this to experience the story for yourself.

I am well aware of how many regard Ted Cruz in the legal profession. I have also read his legal writings, and I disagree. I think that his thoughts about the law are as big a joke as his twitter. Sorry if that bothers you.

Seeing the list written out like that, now I just feel bad about wasting my life in the legal profession. :) But you are not wrong about every name on that list, and that there are a bunch more that could be included.

I have been a practicing attorney for 15 years, and let me just say something that I feel everyone should know: You do not need to be smart to go to law school. People think you do, but you don’t. Exhibit A illustrating this phenomenon is of course, me. Exhibit B is Ted Cruz, who reveals himself to be an utter moron

As always I appreciate this great and well written column. In this case, I particularly appreciate Tom discussing the discomfort with this film for some in the disability rights community. Like Tom’s sister, I have Cerebral Palsy, and I am a disability rights advocate (I have been an attorney with a non-profit that
