You are correct. It is the bit about the world only making sense if you force it to.

“So Conroy’s Batman is basically The Dark Knight Returns Batman.”

I enjoyed the first part of the crossover-B plus was about how I felt about it too. Some good character moments and good action. And the first few minutes with all the cameos were amazing. However, I have two major issues that make me a little unsettled about the whole thing so far:

and good old Anatoly (David Nykl, always welcome). Put them both on Legends.”

These lists are always great fun, and I appreciate the well written content. Two movies that I was hoping to see that did not appear on either list:

I do this too...........

I would pay a lot of money for both those Chevy ads and the Sprint ads with the ex Verizon guy to stop. Just horrible, super annoying ads that make me never want to buy a product from those companies for as long as I live.

Awesome! I really enjoy watching these movies with my sons too!

Your question makes a lot of sense, but I find it much more satisfying to blame it all on Barry and his reckless time travel follies. :)

The MCU is so great. And the movies following Avengers have been so consistently good that it is easy to forget what a big accomplishment it was to make that first “everyone is teaming up” movie so fantastic while balancing time and growth for all the characters. I went into Avengers highly skeptical that Marvel would

The more I reflect on this show, the more I realize I have been watching for the last few seasons on the strength of an amazing first season and to be current for the amazing crossover events. This is the best the show has been in a while, and I still find it almost completely meh.

I think we as an Arrowverse watching community need to acknowledge that all of this is, as always, Barry Allen’s fault. No Flashpoint, no JJ. No JJ, no awful future Deathstroke Gang.

Agreed!

If there were an MVP for dialogue on a TV show, Justified would win it. I think that Justified is the most entertaining show of this decade.

It was combined with early morning soccer practice! No plot hole to see here! :)

I have read a lot of reviews about DS (and thank you for this very good one). I am really interested in the world that is being built here, but the game play sounds kind of.....miserable? So maybe this is one to try when it goes on sale? I don’t know-it is rare that I am this undecided about a game.

Nobody ever needs Reddit or anything else to figure out whether we are the ahole in a given situation. Raylan Givens and Justified already gave us the foolproof best way to figure this out years ago: “If you run into an ahole in the morning, you ran into an ahole. If you run into aholes all day, YOU are the ahole.”

I am one of the few people out there who were left cold by Oxenfree-the game has its virtues, but it just never really clicked with me. But this sounds fun, and I will get to it when I dent my backlog a little more (or on PSPlus someday maybe?).

I am a long time Bronco fan. My take is that Flacco might be right, but he hasn’t played well enough as a Denver Bronco to be calling anyone out publicly about anything. The mirror is the first place he should look for improvement.

Upvoted, both because I agree with your take and for the great Bojack reference!
