As a Cavs fan I am very worried, and I said before the first round that it was possible this roller coaster team would bow out in the first round even with LeBron. That said, the Cavs shot miserably yesterday missing open look after open look. And VO was simply on fire from the opening tip. I do not think we will see…
There are many frustrations in this season of Arrow, but this review nails the biggest one. Oliver grew so much last season, one of the things that made last year great. He learned to work with a team, and to not take every bit of guilt as his own personal burden. He realized he was not the monster Chase made him out…
I think it did contain a Jack the Ripper story also-that might be the one.
Great. Now I am afraid of something else! :)
Irrational in that it is unlikely to occur. I mean, I really really hope it is unlikely to occur.........
For some reason, this movie was shown at every after school/summer day care program I was in from ages 8-10. I must have seen it 20 times, never at home.
Anybody want a peanut?
Little do these kids know that many of them will spend a significant part of their adult lives desperately trying to find a way to escape places like Chuck E.’s,, as they are bombarded by high pitched screams, flashing lights, and bad food. Desperately hoping their kids will be ready to leave soon for the love of God.…
I bet they started with: “Hello, other grown up!”
Agreed. I have always thought of Season 3 as the low point, but I am starting to believe this year is worse. For all its flaws, Season 3 had an epic midseason finale-Oliver soundly beaten and pushed off a mountain was stunning. And of course, a season with lots of Nyssa is always a plus!
“Painfully manufactured” is the perfect way to describe every story line and conflict this season. None of it makes any sense, or is true to any of the characters.
I was hoping that Nyssa would at least mention that she saved Artemis on the island and give an update on her in the last episode, but it was not to be.
Please take the following with a grain of salt: I am old, and have been married for almost two decades. As such, I have not been on a first date in a loooong time, and the modern dating world frankly scares the hell out of me. I am sure things have changed a lot since I took my future wife on a first date of arcade…
Agreed. Making agressive use of shifts and match-ups is modern baseball, but that is not the issue here. As you pointed out, The issue is that Kapler is making bad decisions in bad spots, and appears completely in over his head so far. I watched every inning of the first series against the Braves (my team), and I was…
This is a great article. Disapproval of video games in some parts of society is a concept that has always baffled me. We all have hobbies that we pursue for different reasons to pass our time on this Earth. Video games are not inherently better or worse than any other hobby-reading, music, sports, etc. etc. I can…
I strongly agree with this point, which is why I am absolutely dreading the next episode. The mutiny in team Arrow was completely contrived and silly, and Dig’s out of nowhere desire to be Green Arrow and nothing else is also happening for zero logical reason.
One of my favorite comedic bits of recent Arrowverse seasons has been Nyssa teasing Oliver about being her husband. It is one of the few times we see intentional humor from Nyssa, and it always gave me a laugh. I was glad that she got a few more digs in before letting Ollie off the hook.
“we cannot and will not allow voices to be censored by agenda-driven intimidation efforts.” This has nothing to do with “censorship” of any kind. This is the free market at work-advertisers making business decisions based on what is best for their bottom line. These advertisers are concluding-correctly-that customers…
Good Afternoon Duwease-I heard that too after I was done playing the game. It makes perfect sense, because the game really did seem to end hours before the actual conclusion. That is part of the reason why Ni No Kuni felt somewhat like a chore, although I thought there were some pretty tedious quests throughout.…
