My dog is like this. We have a German Shepard/Lab that barks at everything where anyone is in distress or anything he thinks might be a threat to the family. Loud movies, sudden reflections of light on the wall, the hair dryer, someone sneezing a block away. He is super vigilant all the time.

Thank you so much for bringing Wallace to life for all of us to enjoy. RIP sir.

That is the same way it works where I practice. There is usually a different admin. code section more fully outlining the authority of the body looking at it, but I don't know Tx. law well enough to know what it is!

Hi Gg-I appreciate your response, which is well thought out and well articulated. I disagree, but I don't have much time to post (family dinner!) so I will give the short version. Your argument completely removes any sense of history or context about the laws that were passed. I know what the plain language of public

This burns me up. I have been practicing civil rights law for 15 years. This idiot might win his case, as the Texas code appears to be pretty broad in this regard. I would want to know how he has standing to file as a NY citizen under Texas code, and how he frames his complaint in terms of other opportunities to see

That also disappointed me. I thought the idea of Bourne pitted against that other assassin could be tense fun. But instead I nodded off every time they went up against each other. I don't have a book published so my thoughts can be taken with a huge grain of salt, but I thought the writing in the novel was really poor

Certainly,

I have never heard that before, but it would have been an amazing ending if it had cut away from the happy ending to show the protagonist imagining everything in a mental prison.

I agree, and it is a shame because Die Another Day started out with a lot of promise before descending completely into camp. Bronson's first two Bond movies are classic. The second two I really have trouble watching all the way through.

Bourne Identity is interesting, because I LOVE the movie and HATE the book it is based upon. To me, the book is just terribly written: crayon worthy dialogue, clunky plotting that manages to make the protagonist look wholly unsympathetic, and situations that should be tense but instead are boring.

Agreed. You would want to learn about it right? So you could form your own opinion. That is what being intellectually curious is all about, and that is what leads to progress and helpful debate: when informed people discuss and even disagree about the issues.

It appears so. It seems like a pretty simple concept to me, but what do I know? I am merely a bleeding heart simpleton on the left.

Over on CNN, they have a piece listing twitter reactions to the President's decision. Rick Santorum posted one that basically says that wind and solar power can never provide any consistent benefit because sometimes it is cloudy and it isn't always windy. He laments that he has to explain such obvious things to the

I hold a minor in economics that I earned 20ish years ago. Your post is a good summary of the main thing I learned from all those hours of classes. Could have saved me a little time posting this earlier Mango. :)

I am running out of ways to describe what a dangerous and deranged simpleton President Trump is. Barely over a hundred days in, and I am already at a loss for words.

Thank you-this actually sounds like a fantastic use for twitter. Don't know if I will open an account, but it is nice to be reminded that it can be used for good. :)

I agree-hopefully that is enough reason to think the show will be safe!

Thank you for your response. I plan to give the show a try!

I really appreciate your take on this.

I agree with everything you posted, including David Tennant doing a lot to make sure the first season of JJ was great. But I do have a lot of hope for a good second season, in spite of Marvel's Netflix misfires.
