Fair enough. My point is: what did this review really tell you that you did not already know? You didn't need a skeptic to tell you that this was a far cry/AC type game.

That is a good point about the possible virtues of a skeptic review. I respectfully disagree that the dislike of map games was unclear though. For example: "…..the map game is the dominant style of our time. I am not a huge fan, but what are you gonna do? They just keep coming out…."
I appreciate the well written review, and I mean no offense. But…..if the reviewer is not a fan of this kind of game, what is the point of the review?
I immediately start laughing every time I see Gayle's cats. Remember the episode where Gayle "rescued" one of the cats sitting all alone on someone's front porch? My mother-in law did that-my wife's childhood cat was a "stray" liberated from a random porch.
We have a President who is still campaigning as we are ending February because it is easier than governing and dealing with criticism. He is doing it using tax payer money. Think about how amazing that is.
This game looks great. Between this and Horizon Zero Dawn, my gaming time will be occupied for the foreseeable future.
I really hate to criticize-I am no writer, and it takes courage to put something out there for public consumption. But I just could not get through the first Star Wars novel of this new set because Mr. Wendig's writing was so poor. Some interesting ideas, but sentence structure and things like that were really…
Me too. All of his books are great.
I got about half way through the transcript before I had to stop reading. So many incoherent sentences, half formed thoughts, and so much word salad. And on the few occasions when a complete, fully formed thought did sneak in there, it was disturbing. Good Lord-my preschool aged son and his peers have more on the ball…
That is the most amazing part about all of this. A segment of Trump supporters call everyone who doesn't support everything he does "babies" or "snowflakes" on a daily basis, yet they elected the most thin skinned, whiny public figure that this country has ever laid eyes on. He crumples like a two year old at the…
1. Who would have thought that being President of the United States would come with criticism of your actions? OH NO!!!!!! Democracy is really pesky to deal with sometimes.
I think you mean DOCTOR Peggy Hill………
I just wanted to say that: "If you tell anybody about this…….I will end you" is my favorite line reading of 2017 so far. Bravo Kristen Schaal, as usual.
The amazing thing is, no one would be shocked if this actually happened. That is not a positive for the President of the United States.
I could be wrong, because I haven't seen episode 1 of season 2 since it aired, but isn't it noted that he used to be a regular at the Yonk, or at least someone who had been before? Katie says she is glad he is back, and he is fixing the tv. I think it is clear that Eric is much closer to a friend than a random…
Donald Trump is a disgusting, small minded bully.
"Kira becomes a robot….."
The reasons are The Love Guru and Cat In The Hat
This was a great read, highly interesting interview.
X-Men Legends and X-Men Legends II are the games with those characters that I enjoyed the most. Not particularly deep games, but fun to run with different teams of X-men. I also think it captured the "vibe" of the X-men better than any other game I have played.
