This review is spot on-Arrow is really good this season. Years 3-4 had good moments, but it was all kind of a mess. I found myself watching because I like hanging out with the characters and ignoring some pretty horrible plots. But season five has come back in a big way, and is great to watch. I am looking forward to

I am sure that this has been mentioned elsewhere, and this is not super on topic, but I just wanted to write how much I enjoy his line readings on Bob's Burgers these days. There are some great Kline movies out there-Wanda and Silverado are two of my all time faves-but lately when I think of Mr. Kline and comedy, I

This was the episode that really drew me into the show. I loved the dialogue and I thought: "Wow, who wrote this?"

In my job, I have a lot of experience with education and issues that impact education. Mr. Trump offering up this unqualified individual for this position is a disgrace, period. I don't wish to be unduly brutal, but Ms. DeVos lacks basic knowledge about this subject.

I am sorry you didn't like the ending. I am not criticizing your opinion, but I just want to throw this out there: To me, the love triangle was never about who Mordecai was going to end up with. It was about him growing as a person (er Blue Jay) and overcoming the immaturity that was keeping him from being who he

Thank you for all of the great episodes Regular Show! A very funny show that also gave the characters a chance to grow-what more could you ask for? My favorite part of the show was how it depicted friendship-that Modecai, Rigby, Benson et. al would stand up for each other no matter what. The trips to hang at the park

That is what I enjoyed about Indigo Prophecy too! The game had a great vibe, and then the ending was so clearly thrown in there in desperation-but it was so bad it ended up being fun!

I keep a list of PS4 games I am interested in playing so I don't forget. Looking at the list now…there are way more potentially great games out or coming out than I will ever have time to play. And my backlog is already huge. In summary: Being an adult stinks.

My wife got annoyed with me because I started screaming this during the show-why wouldn't Steve's parents just send him back as soon as he walks in the door? They just shrugged and said: "You beat us, have a good day at school"?

I can see why some people like this, as it has a unique vibe and some good performances. But, imo the writing and plotting is so lazy that I just can't get past it. Just too much that made me roll my eyes. Not every plot hole can or should be explained away by-"its a mystery!!!!"

Hmmm. Perhaps I did not think the possible ramifications of my disclosure all the way through……I would not blame her.

I have an AV Club confession to make. I love going to the movies with my kids, but this is the only franchise where I watched the first three with them and just couldn't take it anymore. Chipwreck was just the worst. So when it came time to take the kids to Road Chip-I pretended to be sick. Seriously. I wrapped myself

The breakdown of civility in public discourse is an awful thing. The internet/twitter/social media can be a great tool to bring people together, but so many people use it as a tool to spread hate against and at those whose only transgression is having a different opinion than they do. It is a sad state of affairs. It

I cannot wait for this game, as the Mass Effect Trilogy is one of my all time favorites. Between MEA and Horizon Zero Dawn it is going to be a great spring for gaming. I have already apologized to my wife about the time I will be spending on these. :)

Batman was my favorite movie as a kid, and I shared it with my oldest son over the holiday break. He loved it, and it was nice to be able to recapture some of that old magic through his eyes. Movie does not totally hold up, but still a really fun ride-it also deserves a lot of credit for being the movie that

I agree, although I appreciate the well written and interesting article. My kids love getting up to dance at the end of these movies, and I love watching it. These sequences are aimed at kids, not at everyone. And they usually hit exactly what they aim for.

I am not sure if it is that dire, but if it is as bad as folks are saying: I think my family should grant me an additional Rogue One showing after I take the kids to this……

Hi Jesse, thank you for your response and for your writing which is
great. It will be interesting to see if your focus on these kinds of
films changes when you are taking your kids to see them. It certainly
has for me: I am certain that you are correct that this is not a good
film, but I am a lot more forgiving if

Thanks for the helpful post Boba. It seems pretty clear that this will be one of those kids movies firmly in the category of "taking one for the team" for the adults who accompany them. Too bad.

I appreciate this review-as always, it is much better than anything I could write. However:
